PROGRAMS
Gary Michael Jones offers 3 PROGRAMS and levels of service. At the first consultaion we will decide what PROGRAM is best for you. From room additions and remodeling to estate sized custom homes, I will help you choose which PROGRAM and level of service suits your needs. I insist on helping keep the project within your budget.
PROGRAM #1: Gary will take all your ideas and custom design your home to your satisfaction. Then he will release the design to you at 1/8 inch scale, so you can take it to a draftsman of your choice to draw you a set of construction plans. Depending on the complexity of the design, this program costs approximately $750.00 which can be considered a retainer for PROGRAMS 2 and 3. THIS PROGRAM WORKS BEST IF YOU ALREADY KNOW A DRAFTSMAN WHO CAN DRAFT, BUT MAY NOT BE ABLE TO DESIGN EXACTLY WHAT YOU WANT.
PROGRAM #2: Includes Program #1 plus 1/4 inch scale Construction Drawings which will have: Site Plan, Floor Plan, Front, Rear and Side Elevations, and Electrical Plan. The cost of this, depending on the complexity of the design, is $.65 to $.85 cents per square foot covered area. (minus the retainer). THIS PROGRAM WORKS BEST IF YOU ALREADY HAVE A BUILDER OR CLOSE FRIEND WHO IS GOING TO HELP YOU BUILD YOUR PROJECT.
PROGRAM #3: Includes PROGRAMS #1 and #2, plus Roof Plan, Cabinet Details, Cross Sections and Specification Sheet. The cost of this, depending on the complexity of the design, is $1.00 to $1.25 per square foot covered area (minus the retainer). THIS PROGRAM WORKS BEST IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY SELECTED A BUILDER. IT WILL HELP YOU GET "APPLES TO APPLES" BIDS SO YOU CAN CHOOSE THE BUILDER YOU FEEL MOST COMFORTABLE WITH. IN OTHER WORDS...YOU WILL BE BUILDING THE HOUSE YOUR WAY AND NOT THE BUILDER'S WAY.
